CMSA coordinates national preparations to European Meetings of People Experiencing Poverty in 2014

This summer, for the thirteenth time, the European Meeting of People Experiencing Poverty will take place in Brussels. It is organized by the European Anti-Poverty Network in cooperation with the European Commission and Greece, which in 2014 holds the Presidency at the Council of the European Union.
This year the organization coordinating Polish national preparations to this important European event is Camillian Mission for Social Assistance. Starting in March, the CMSA will organize meetings during which the people experiencing poverty will discuss the most important problems concerning their lives. In conclusion a group of people will be chosen to represent Poland in Brussels, where they will have an opportunity to directly convey to the representatives of the EU institutions the description of the current situation of the poverty-stricken people in Poland. Hoping for better solutions in national policy on poverty.
